If you have a driver’s licence from Japan, the United States, or
another Canadian province or territory and you have been driving for two
years or more in the past three years, you do not have to go through the
graduated licensing levels.
To get a full Class G Ontario driver’s licence without further testing,
go to a Ministry of Transportation, Driver Examination Center. The
addresses of these centers are listed in the blue pages of your local
telephone book.
At the Driver Examination Center, you must:
All documents must be originals and they must be in English or
French. You may only use photocopies if they are signed by a notary
public. If the documents are in another language, they should he
translated into English or French.
If you can show this information you will get a Class G Ontario
driver’s licence without further testing!
